Terms of use — summary
This page is a short, convenient summary for using the Customer Hub. It does not replace Gillabyte’s full Terms & Conditions, which may contain additional terms and take precedence if there is any difference.
Using your account
Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and use the Hub only for lawful business and support enquiries. Tell Gillabyte if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Support requests, quotations and projects
You can use the Hub to submit IT support requests, request hardware quotations and provide details of IT projects. Please provide clear and accurate information, and only upload files you are entitled to share. Submitting a request does not, by itself, mean that Gillabyte has accepted a job, quotation or project.
Quotations and charges
Where a quotation is issued, check its scope, equipment, prices, deposit and payment terms, labour charges and any applicable travel costs before accepting. Unless the quotation states otherwise, it is valid for 30 days from issue. Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges, subject to agreement, and equipment is subject to availability. Any refurbished or used equipment should be identified in the quotation where applicable.
Messages and uploaded content
Keep communications respectful and relevant. Do not upload unlawful, malicious or confidential material that you are not authorised to share. Gillabyte may use the information you submit to respond to your request and manage the related service.
Availability and security
We aim to keep the Hub useful and available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service or access another customer’s information.
Privacy
The Hub processes personal information to manage accounts and requests, provide support, prepare quotations and handle project enquiries. Read the Customer Hub privacy notice for more detail.
Consumer rights and full terms
Nothing in this summary is intended to remove rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded. The full Terms & Conditions explain the applicable terms and should be reviewed before accepting a quotation or proceeding with work.
